Although you wouldn't make a waterproof roof out of this unique metal material, using it in the right ways can add a lot of value to a building as well as provide some surprising advantages. 

What are the benefits of using perforated metal?

A number of reports have covered the sound reduction benefits of perforated metal, but there are also other key benefits in utilising this material.

According to the Industrial Perforators Association, this type of sheet metal is also more sustainable. Compared to other materials, it is easier to recycle and the typical base alloys of steel and aluminium are among the more resistant metals. Perforated metals also have a long lifespan, making them a wise investment for the long-term.
